Payment

Homeowner kitchen designs; payment is in advance by bank transfer.

Trade Customers: Payment is due on receipt of invoice.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Corrine Kirstie Design Ltd. – Kitchen Design Services

1. Product Specifications & Client Approval

1.1. All product specifications, design proposals, and itemized quotes will be provided to the client for review and approval prior to any ordering or procurement process.

1.2. It is the sole responsibility of the client to carefully review all design details, measurements, product specifications, finishes, quantities, and quotes before confirming any order or proceeding with purchases.

1.3. Any errors, discrepancies, or omissions identified in the specifications or quote must be brought to the attention of Corrine Kirstie Design Ltd. in writing prior to order confirmation.

1.4. If a list of products or a quotation has been prepared by Corrine Kirstie Design Ltd. as part of the service, the client acknowledges that it is their responsibility to review and verify all details. Corrine Kirstie Design Ltd. will not be liable for any errors or omissions in such lists or quotations.

2. Liability Disclaimer

2.1. Corrine Kirstie Design Ltd. will not be held liable for any costs, delays, or losses arising from the misordering of furniture, appliances, fixtures, or fittings due to:

- Incorrect or unconfirmed client approval 
- Miscommunication regarding selections or specifications 
- Late or post-approval changes initiated by the client

2.2. Once the client has approved the final product list and quote in writing (email acceptance is sufficient), all responsibility for the accuracy of the items ordered lies with the client.

2.3. All measurements are to be provided by the supplier or retailer. Corrine Kirstie Design Ltd. will not be held responsible for any discrepancies, errors, or changes to measurements provided by third-party suppliers or retailers.

2.4. Corrine Kirstie Design Ltd. will not be liable for any design errors or omissions, including but not limited to inaccuracies in layout, material selection, or integration with on-site conditions. It is the client's and retailer's responsibility to thoroughly review all plans and visuals before proceeding with any aspect of installation or procurement.

2.5. Consequential loss, including (but not limited to) loss of profit, income, business opportunity, or reputation, forms no part of this contract, and Corrine Kirstie Design Ltd. accepts no liability for such losses under any circumstances.

2.6. Corrine Kirstie Design Ltd. does not take responsibility for supplier lead times, stock availability, or changes made by third-party suppliers after client approval.

3. Project Management & Installation Queries

3.1. The management of the kitchen installation project will be undertaken by the retailer, who is solely responsible for relaying all relevant technical details, installation requirements, and any special features to the appointed fitter.

3.2. Corrine Kirstie Design Ltd. will not be involved in the day-to-day management or communication of the installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3.3. Should the fitter raise any questions that the retailer is unable to answer, Corrine Kirstie Design Ltd. is available to provide clarification and support at a minimum charge of £50.00, followed by £50.00 per hour thereafter.

3.4. In the event of a dispute between the fitter and the retailer, Corrine Kirstie Design Ltd. will not intervene until such a dispute has been resolved between the relevant parties.

3.5. Where revisions to plans or visuals have been made, it is the retailer’s responsibility to ensure that both their client and the installer are working from the most recent and accurate version of all documents. Corrine Kirstie Design Ltd. accepts no responsibility for errors resulting from the use of outdated or superseded plans.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1. Once a request has been made for Corrine Kirstie Design Ltd. to produce a kitchen design, the client has 24 hours from the time of request to cancel without charge.

4.2. If no cancellation is received within this 24-hour window, the full amount of the agreed design service fee will be charged, regardless of whether the design work has commenced or been completed.


 

All kitchen designs will be returned within agreed deadlines, however under exceptional circumstances there may be delays if this is the case Corrine Kirstied Design Ltd will inform the client emidiatly. 

By requesting the services of Corrine Kirstie Design you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
